Glennwood-6 (Limited Edition)

Introducing the Riversong Glennwood-6 Limited Edition acoustic electric guitar - proudly built in Canada. This Guitar is a workhorse that performs equally well in any room, recording studio, and on stage.

This guitar features solid Wild Cherry back and sides with a beautifully torified (aged) Sitka Spruce top utilizing our proprietary deep baking process. Torification delivers a balanced and articulate blend of top-end brightness, midrange fullness, and low-end warmth that accommodates an array of playing styles with fantastic harmonics and clarity of tone. 

The micro bevel around this guitar makes for a comfortable fit for anyone while playing.

Riversong guitars' patented Adjustable Neck-Thru System® allows for less bracing and the ability to adjust intonation and string height with an easy twist of an Allen key. 

The Glennwood-6 is x-braced on the top and back with Skeletized Bracing (another Riversong innovation). 

The Riversong patented Double Reaction Bridge® (co-developed with Phillip Shaheen) conducts sound to the top and under bridge plate simultaneously. This increases overall volume by 10%. The Double Reaction Bridge® has a balanced mass encouraging increased resonant vibration. 

This a limited Edition Guitar, numbered and serialized and includes a Riversong Guitars Certificate of Authenticity.

The Patented Riversong Adjustable Neck-Thru System®

 Our patented Adjustable Neck-Thru System®  offers many benefits including:

Riversong's unique patented Adjustable Neck-Thru System® also has a truss rod that runs the full length of the neck.  Most traditional guitars have a truss rod that ends at the 14^th fret with an elongated screw head.  Riversong necks have a full-length truss rod that adjusts the entire length. This is closer to how an electric guitar is constructed. 

The patented Adjustable Neck-Thru System® has a small amount of flex (like a Strat) and this allows regular gauge strings to feel a lot less stiff further enforcing our electric-like feel.

Our Active Body System

Riversong’s innovation is the active body system. It works by moving the neck all the way through the body allowing two things happen:

•  The structure shifts from neck joint to the end block
•  The mass of the neck is now equal in and out of the guitar and it is free to vibrate like a tuning fork helping to ring up and down the neck and throughout the body. With the structure coming from the back of the guitar, the body and the neck has a little bit of flex (think more like a Strat vs a Les Paul). This flex gives the body the ability to freely vibrate and gives the strings a really slinky feel (low tension)
